Matariki is a cluster of many stars. This cluster of stars signifies a framework upon which Māori life and the whole yearly cycle of life, was built. The appearance of Matariki signifies the end of one
year, and the beginning of the new year with all its promise, hope, and goodness.
There will be a special Matariki Prayer Service on Friday 24 June 10am St Annes Church
Please bring finger food to share with a cuppa afterwards.
