CHARTING THE COURSE\u00a0\"compass\"<\/strong>
\n– The Voyage ahead for the Catholic Parish of Wellington South<\/h3>\n

Beginning \u00a0Sunday 2 August, the four parishes in the Wellington South Pastoral\u00a0Area will begin a nine week discernment process, which is tied into our\u00a0new Parish Vision –<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are a community of joyful disciples growing\u00a0together and sharing Christ\u2019s message.\u201d
\n<\/strong>
\n<\/em>The process will provide the\u00a0foundation and direction for the Catholic Parish of Wellington South. It\u00a0is a time to reflect deeply before we begin the next step of the transition, which involves making decisions around pastoral care, administration, and more for the new Parish.
\nDuring each Sunday Mass we will be focusing on and identifying how we\u00a0come together, how we will be joyful disciples and how we will share\u00a0Christ\u2019s message. It is important to acknowledge that becoming a new\u00a0parish means change, which can be difficult and painful.
\nEach parish\u00a0community carries a rich history of belonging and we are being asked to\u00a0set off into the unknown. \u00a0Acknowledging any fears in prayer, reflection,\u00a0and listening can lead to a greater place of freedom, to look forward in\u00a0hope, of how together we find new ways of belonging and solidarity.<\/p>\n
