We hope that you are all keeping safe and warm on this chilly autumn day.\u00a0 Our thoughts are especially with those living along the South Coast who are experiencing wild seas today.

The Daily Examen<\/strong>\u00a0is a way of prayerful reflection on the events of the day in order to detect God\u2019s presence and discern his direction for us.\u00a0The Examen\u00a0is an ancient practice in the Church that can help us see God\u2019s hand at work in our whole experience.\u00a0 It is a simple exercise that can easily be made a daily habit.\u00a0 St Ignatius suggests five steps to the Daily Examen.
\n1. Become aware of God\u2019s presence.
\n2. Review the day with gratitude.
\n3. Pay attention to your emotions.
\n4. Choose one feature of the day and pray from it.
\n5. Look toward tomorrow.
